Pulp classification for the production of
toilet paper
Pulp is a fibrous substance made from plant fibers through different processing. Wholesale
toilet paper manufacturers can be subdivided into various varieties according to different processing methods of different raw materials and different processing degrees. fields are widely used.
1. According to the classification of raw materials, pulp can be divided into wood pulp, waste paper pulp and non-wood pulp, and wood pulp is divided into coniferous pulp and broad-leaved pulp. Softwood pulp mainly comes from wood pulp of masson pine, larch, red pine, spruce and other tree species, and hardwood pulp includes wood pulp of birch, poplar, basswood, eucalyptus, maple and other tree species. Softwood pulp has stronger toughness and better stretchability than hardwood pulp. A certain proportion of softwood pulp will be added to increase the toughness of paper.
Waste paper pulp is pulp made from recycled waste paper. After the waste paper is recycled, it is classified, screened, soaked in water, and crushed to form recyclable pulp.
Non-wood pulp is divided into three categories: the raw material pulp of grass fiber mainly uses straw, wheat straw, reed, bamboo, bagasse, etc.; the raw material pulp of bast fiber mainly uses hemp, kenaf, flax, mulberry bark, cotton stalk bark, etc. and other pulping; raw wool fiber pulp, such as cotton fiber pulping.
2. According to the classification of processing technology, pulp can be divided into mechanical pulping, chemical pulping, and semi-chemical pulping
Mechanical pulping: The pure use of machinery to grind raw materials into pulp.
Chemical pulping: Pulp obtained by processing raw materials with papermaking chemicals is called chemical pulp.
Semi-chemical pulp: After the raw materials are pretreated with chemicals, the pulp produced by machinery is called semi-chemical pulp.
In addition, according to the processing degree, it can be divided into refined pulp, bleached pulp, semi-bleached pulp and unbleached pulp, etc., mainly according to the bleaching procedure of pulp, because its different properties are used in different industries.
